Gone Fishing

October 6, 2015

Last weekend I spent some quality time with my Granddad, something I wish I could do more of. It was like the good old days when he used to take me fishing as a child. I would cause complete mayhem as he chased me around the lake, spending most of his time untangling my hook from the surrounding trees and removing my hands from the maggot pot. Fortunately for him, he didn’t have to do this this time around – the things we do as children hey.

Being a fair few years since I had been fishing I made sure the Anglian between us brought all the gear, except the footwear which I had us covered with. I wanted to treat both of us and so I brought along two fresh pairs of Ted Baker boots from the “Tight Lines” collection. There was quite the choice throughout the Tight Lines range, with all showcasing a classic gentlemen’s image without compromising on functionality. They were fit for purpose, sophisticated yet rugged and of course stayed in line with an on trend appearance – I had nailed the footwear choice. I could see myself wearing these in a number of alfresco activities. Certainly a wardrobe essential for any man with a passion for the great outdoors.

The day flew by way too quickly however spending time with my Granddad was great, I never tire of his stories and truly treasure every moment I am lucky enough to share with him.
