“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…
“It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do…
“It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

I really love the idea that conquering your own fears can help others conquer theirs. By shining yourself, you can help others shine.
We come across these people every now and again who motivate us not through helping us directly but through how they carry themselves.
For an example in my personal experience I recognised that in years gone by I have sometimes been envious of people who are confident enough to step on stage and talk in-front of hundreds if not thousands of people with what seems like pure confidence. I realise now that with a more positive mindset these people are possibly helping me. They were showing me that I didn’t need to have fear in such scenarios.
Remember that focusing on yourself every now and again, making sure you shine and take on your fears can have positive effects on those around you to encourage them to step outside their comfort zones and take on their own individual battles in life.
