So you guys are probably thinking what has all this luxury content got to do with a fragrance? well with Cannes film festival in full swing Monaco was the place to be & I was lucky enough to have been invited by Clarins to celebrate the launch of their new fragrance for men ‘Wanted’ by Azzaro. The team wanted to inject a new edge in to the brand a younger feel & they certainly provided this with the new scent. The smell is sophisticated perfect for the young professional & in my opinion a choice for a gentleman with great taste. They wanted to showcase the fragrances soul, the deeper meaning behind the creation. “Wanted” represents the classy sophisticated gentlemen and the vision of luxury living portrays the image perfectly. So we where given the chance to live the life of an Azzaro man.
After we had arrived at the stunning Hotel Hermitage we enjoyed lunch at Le Deck Monte-Carlo bay where Christian Courtin-Clarins the chairman of Clarins & Sandrine Groslier President of Clarins fragrance group gave an emotional and heart warming speech about Azzaro & brought to life the passion and time dedicated to creating this game changing fragrance.
That evening we took the helicopter from Monte Carlo to Cannes to celebrate the lunch & unveiling of Azzaro Wanted in style. The evening was held at the Terrace and Le club by Albane located on the roof top of the JW Marriot hotel with views over looking the bay of Cannes, an evening full of champagne extremely well dressed individuals & a great atmosphere was set. We sat down after the presentations to enjoy a delicious dinner with the founders & creators of Azzaro, a truly amazing experience I won’t be forgetting.
The following day we enjoyed lunch on a yacht & drinks at Le Note Bleue. Arriving at Monaco harbour late morning the whole afternoon was spent enjoying the most incredible canopies relaxing in the gorgeous sun and raising a glass to the luxury lifestyle. After the yacht we took to the beach where we enjoyed a round of cocktails & planned the evenings events including a visit to the famous Monte Carlo Casino. The day was so much fun and to have spent it with some amazing people made it all that little bit better.
The trip had come to an end & I sat back on the plane home and took in everything we had experienced with in the last 48hours and I just smiled, I was lost for words. The identity of the Azzaro man is depicted perfectly in the images above.
