Four Seasons The Ritz Lisbon with Olympus

At the start of the month Lydia Millen, Jay McLaughlin & myself jetted off to Lisbon Portugal Four seasons The Ritz to play around with our Olympus Pen Generation Cameras & enjoy the beautiful scenery Lisbon has to offer. The trip started off with Jay & Lydia introducing me to Pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup which to both there disbelief  I had never tried, I can confirm they are insane even in an airport. After a pleasant flight we were picked up by our chauffeur in a stunning Mercedes Benz kitted out with all the toys to arrive in time for Dinner at our hotel.

After quick tour around the stunning hotel we sat down for the most delicious dinner at the four seasons accompanied with champagne & a faultless service, we new  we were in for a real treat this week. As the morning approached we had the most amazing opportunity to view Lisbon from a Helicopter, Our driver Born Player (top boy) took us to a near by helipad where we met the Lisbon Helicopter team to experience the high life. I had never flown in a helicopter before so it was a completely new experience and a breath taking one at that, we had the doors removed and perfect weather for a clear view across this city. If you have yet to experience a helicopter ride you have to put it on your bucket list.

We spent the rest of our afternoon with our driver the Born Player taking a tourist route around Sintra viewing the beautiful castles & architecture it has to offer. After climbing Castle of the Moors we stopped of at Porto Santa Maria Lisbon for some lunch, this fish restaurant hosted a clear view of the sea and offered yet again amazing food, which seemed to have been a recurring trend throughout Lisbon.

We headed back to the hotel to refresh and dress up for an evening with the Four Seasons PR manager Diana who took amazing care of us during our stay, Diana had a surprise in store for us we sat down at the MiniBar in São Luiz Theatre Lisbon which is owned by José Avillez a two star Michelin chef, The Gourmet bar offers a none traditional menu, it hosts a variety of 12 courses that show the creative side to cooking, not all is what it seems as you tuck in to what you believe to be a sweet snack and are hit with a savoury flavour, The evening was so much fun, full of cocktails and the atmosphere was alive.

After a great nights sleep we headed down for breakfast in the hotel which never disappointed, It was our final full day so we grabbed the opportunity to take a tour around Lisbon in a Tuc-Tuc with a extremely knowledgable driver, It gave us a great chance to put our Olympus Pens to work and shoot some cool outfit posts which will pop up in the near future. Lisbon truly is a must see destination for anyone, it has so much to offer and the people are the most friendliest I have ever come across, The food was insane and weather was great.  check out some of these views.

The trip will be an unforgettable experience and really was a glimpse into a millionaire lifestyle, The team at the four seasons where amazing and took such good care of us. I’m also so happy I had my Olympus pen by my side to capture the trip to share with you guys. Keep an eye out for my outfit posts to follow from this trip, Jay caught some awesome images on his Olympus for me. – AG
